Grizedale Lodge We have eight spacious bedrooms, all with lovely views. Breakfasts are hearty, wholesome and cooked to order using local produce wherever possible.

Come and stay with us at Grizedale Lodge, a former hunting lodge set in the stunning Grizedale Forest, close to Hawkshead, Ambleside and Coniston in the Lake District National Park. We have a large sitting room with a sunny west-facing balcony, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or local beer after a day of walking, cycling or exploring the beautiful scenery.

Just to let you all know, Debs and I said our final farewell to Grizedale Lodge on New Year's Eve leaving the Lodge in the capable hands of it's new owners. We would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 7 years and wish you all a Happy New Year.
