We are currently seeking full time/part time Housekeeping assistants with a friendly attitude and a keen eye for detail to work in our beautiful guest house. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of maintaining our standards, and providing the best service to our guests.

The main duties of the role include cleaning and servicing guest rooms to our exceptionally high standards, ensuring all welcome and public areas are well maintained, reporting maintenance issues, and managing stock of linen, towels and room supplies. The role also involves helping with breakfast service including setting up the dining room, serving guests, and clearing and cleaning the dining room and kitchen.

Experience in a similar role is preferred but is not essential as full training can be provided. Working hours are negotiable and flexible hours can be discussed.

We have a friendly and enjoyable working environment with a small close-knit team.

Another glorious day here in Ambleside. This perfect spot is down at Chesters by the River, Skelwith bridge. Just a 5-10 minute drive from Diamond Lodge! Has anyone been during their stay with us? I definitely recommend the blueberry scones and jam donuts! ☀️
