50 Years of Tyddyn Isaf! 💚

In 1976, when we purchased Tyddyn Isaf, we were a family with the bare bones of a park, lots of ideas, and a lot of hope. Half a century later, we're still a family business, and the fields are full of your families and memories too!

We've watched children who once ran around here with buckets and fishing nets come back with children of their own. We've seen first holidays, silver weddings, reunions, and more rainy afternoons in the bar and coffee shop than we could ever count. We may look after Tyddyn, but you are the ones who fill it with life. ❤️

So it felt only right that our Golden Anniversary celebration on Saturday wasn't about us at all… it was about giving something back. And what a day it was! 🥰

We had live music from Arwyn Hughes and The Cover Ups, Highland cows getting more cuddles than they knew what to do with, face painting, games, a spectacular three-tier celebration cake, our Golden Challenge winners announced, and a crowd of you who turned up in full force despite the weather (which, thankfully, came good in the end!). 🐮🎶

Because of you, our wonderful customers, we raised an incredible....
£4,072 for RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat 😍

To the RNLI Moelfe Lifeboat volunteers, and the HM Coastguard team who gave up their Saturday to join us: thank you. You were the reason for the day, and you were the highlight of it.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated, volunteered and attended our Golden Anniversary Celebrations and RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat fundraiser event yesterday. 🛟 🏆 🥳

I think you’ll all agree that a fantastic time was had by all…I’m yet to total up the final amount raised so this will follow along with more pictures in the next few days.

We've had some really lovely messages from guests sharing their memories of Tyddyn Isaf over the years and we just wanted to say a huge thank you for sharing your most treasured memories.

Recently, one of our static owners, the Scott’s, shared some wonderful family news with us:

“Our youngest son Andrew and girlfriend Leanne, not forgetting Scout the Border Collie, are staying at the caravan. They went for a walk on Lligwy Beach and Andrew got down on one knee and proposed!! He had the ring ready and she said YES! 😊. He wanted to do it there as it’s their happy place. We are all thrilled and it will always be a special place now.”

It’s such an honour to be a small part of our guests’ lives and to see Tyddyn Isaf become the backdrop to so many cherished memories, from the highs and lows to the celebrations and quiet moments in between. 💚

Important pollinators are living their best life amongst our lavender bushes! 🐝

Across the park, we’ve planted an abundance of pollinator-friendly plants, providing a rich and plentiful source of protein-packed pollen for these vital little creatures.

It’s wonderful to see our planting come alive with so much buzzing activity! 🌿

It was the kind of place where you'd pop in for the essentials and somehow leave with a bag full of things you never knew you needed 🥲

Take a closer look at the photo...you might spot a few nostalgic and "vintage" treasures...and maybe a Freddo for just 5p! Those really were the days 🤫

We’re proud to stock our very own range of local ales, produced for us by Snowdon Craft Beer, a fantastic local brewery. 🍺

Our collection includes five ales, each named after a piece of Tyddyn Isaf’s history. So, every bottle comes with a story!

It's a nice way to enjoy a cold drink and learn something about Tyddyn Isaf at the same time. Ask us about the names if you're curious…we're always happy to share more about the stories behind them 😊

We also stock Snowdon Craft's delicious Seidr (cider), available in three refreshing varieties 👉 Classic Apple, Forest Fruits, and a Low Alcohol option.
