🐻 CRAZY BEAR 🐻
I visited here for our anniversary a few years back after hearing such amazing things I was excited to be invited back in 😄 Since then, they’ve made some changes and moved the Thai restaurant into the main building. I was a little sad to see the fun animal themed decor go, especially the big bear at the entrance!
We had a gorgeous view of the bright blue swimming pool, which was stunning, but I do feel it would be even better with some kind of backdrop instead of the houses so you could enjoy its beauty in full!
Now let’s talk about the food… 😍
Soups:
🍄🟫 Tom Kha Hed – shiitake, oyster mushrooms, galangal & coconut milk
🍲 Tom Kha G*i – chicken, mushrooms, galangal & coconut milk
Both soups were absolutely delicious, beautifully aromatic with that perfect sweetness from the coconut milk. Honestly, I could’ve had another bowl 🤤
Starters:
🥜 Chicken Satay – succulent, good quality meat with a nutty, creamy sauce. So good!
🍤 Prawn Tempura – generous amount of prawns with a light, crispy batter, freshly cooked to perfection.
Mains:
🍜 Prawn Pad Thai – a classic Thai favourite and one of mine! The flavours were spot on.
🌶️ Spicy Thai Basil Beef – full of aromatic flavour and a really satisfying main.
Cocktails:
🍹 Red Dragon
🍸 Lychee Blossom
Both cocktails were stunning - bold, strong flavours and very moreish!
The staff were so lovely and overall we had such an enjoyable experience ☺️
