**⚠️ Important Safety Notice ⚠️**

Today, a fire broke out in one of our farm fields adjacent to the campsite. Thanks to the swift response of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, the fire was quickly brought under control, and everyone remained safe.

With the current hot, dry conditions, we kindly ask all guests to be extremely cautious during their stay. Please do not light open fires, dispose of ci******es responsibly, do not use disposable BBQs, and avoid anything that could create a spark or flame!

The last full month of summer is here, and what a beautiful way to welcome it! 💛

August is named after the Roman Emperor Augustus and is often known for its golden evenings, warm days, and some of the year's best sunsets. It's the perfect time to slow down, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and make the most of those long summer evenings.

We hope your all managing to keep cool during this hot spell!
🔥🚫 Unfortunately due to the current high risk of wildfires and extreme dry conditions surrounding our fields and crops yet again, we're asking everyone to *please refrain from lighting fires or using fire pits*.
Even a small spark can have devastating consequences — not just to the landscape, but to the livelihoods of those who rely on these crops. It’s a temporary measure, but an essential one to keep our community and environment safe 💚🌾

Thank you for respecting the land and helping us protect it. Let’s keep the flames in our hearts and off the ground — for now!
