Family run livery yard the owners have over 35 years of experience of working and owning horses. Livery yard is situated along side the solway firth which allows for direct access to bridleways and country lanes aswell as to the shore. The livery compromises of 12x12 internal stables with 35 acres of turnout in secure paddocks.

Visited Tuesday, Pretty cold and some of the lake was still frozen so I think the resident Kingfisher had located elsewhere but plenty of other activity going on. Was early and I don't think the Squirrels we out of bed.

Who's up for some Old Fashioned Fun in February half term? 🙋‍♀🙋‍♂️ (We have something on and it's free!)

On Friday 20th February 2026 you can come and play with a range of traditional toys from the 19th and 20th centuries. Plus, you'll make your own cup-and-ball to take away.

This is a free activity for families in our education room. You're welcome to drop in and join us in the morning or afternoon session.

⏰Morning session 11am to 12:30pm
⏰Afternoon session 2pm to 3.30pm

Please be aware that our usual admission prices do apply to anyone looking around The Devil's Porridge Museum.
