February is not a busy month for tourists so we spend time springcleaning and redecorating our bedrooms where necessary. I have just finished sewing new cushions for our downstairs bedroom and our dining room and kitchen have been freshly painted.
The weather has been mild and Benny has been busy building a wee wall from granite slabs retreived from the banks around The Six Mile River.
Of course everyone is looking forward to the Titanic celebrations in March - from Antrim it is only 30 minutes away by train or express bus or 20 minutes down the M2 by car.
March is here and the longer daylight has made us all feel much better. The local Forum at Lough Road continues to provide us with new guests. The Under 21 Netball Championships took place last weekend and we had parents of girls from the Scottish and English teams staying with us. They were pleased that they were only 15 minutes walk from the venue.
At present there are 3 doctors with us. They flew in via Heathrow, all the way from Pakistan and they came to N.Ireland for a peaceful stay away from the busyness and noise of Lahore - there are 10 million people in that city so it not surprising that they are loving it here!
