Please ensure flood defences are in place and cars are moved from The Sands overnight.
The current river level predictions are suggesting that it will come over early hours of the morning.

Signs of Spring! Yay!! Acorn Bank is a lovely place to visit when staying in the area, don’t miss out!

Snowdrop Weekends begin this weekend, 1 & 2 February, at Acorn Bank - with a programme of family fun, talks and crafts 🌱

After a long winter, drifts of lovely snowdrops transform the woodland – a sure sign that spring is on its way. On Saturdays and Sundays until 16 March, wrap up warm and take a winter wander through swathes of snowdrops that carpet the woodland beside the historic Crowdundle Beck.

Plus talks on red squirrels (23 February & 9 March), block printing, windowsill salad seed sowing and den building. And, on 15 February, there's the chance to join a nature connection walk or a meditation session with Wild Soul.
