Another firm favourite of our guests' is the magnificent Hawkestone Follies. Set in 100 acres of Parkland, The Follies is a range of dramatic and rugged natural sandstone hills that were developed to include gullies, caves, towers and bridges.

Suitable for all ages, the Follies are an excellent day out. We recommend taking a picnic to eat in Dragon wood at the base of the monument - although you may want to wait until you've made your way safely back down the 100ft, 150 steps climb!😉 (Where on a clear day, you can apparently see up to 13 counties!)

Less than 30miles from Trederwen House, you can find the Longmynd. A mountain range of moorland where on a lucky day, you may be lucky enough to spy these beautiful wild Welsh ponies. 🥰

Well worth a day out for the entire family, there are miles of walks, valleys with shallow streams or take a leisurely drive and picnic. Nestled at the foot of the hills is the picturesque market town of Church Stretton.

The front door at Trederwen House is hundreds of years old and is one of the many features of this old house. It’s difficult to imagine how many people have travelled through this entrance over the years. We love to dress it up at Halloween for an extra spooky experience.

6 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges, huge kitchen and more including the large private garden and games barn with pool table. We have something to entertain all ages. The canal walk is a particular favourite where you can spot a huge variety of birds and other wildlife.

Jacob has been helping with all the renovations we’re undertaking. So handsome 💕
We have new timbers, new roof, and hopefully a revived kitchen to share once we reopen.
