Alladale Wilderness Reserve is a place like no other in the world. Exploring and enjoying its 23,000 acres of rugged Highland mountains makes one realize that time doesn’t really exist out here. Yet time is what we are giving nature to restore itself. With a little help. Alladale’s purpose is to leave behind a legacy: if we put our minds to it, and put in the hard work, we can help nature to regrow forests, bring back a variety of plant and animal species that we’ve lost, and leave behind a wilder and more bio-diverse Scotland, for future generations to enjoy.
Staying at Alladale means you will find yourself amidst an active conservation and restoration effort. You can choose to experience this effort, or stay at Alladale as a nice break or holiday and enjoy the scenery and our on and off site activities.
Alladale offers three kinds of accommodation, to cater to different needs.
Alladale Lodge is our Victorian Manor, overlooking the mountains and offering luxury combined with a home-away-from-home feel. Chef Thomas Park creates stunning meals, with a focus on Scottish Cuisine. Seven en-suite bedrooms sleep a maximum of 14 guests, who can enjoy the drawing room with baby grand piano, several fire places, large dining room, sauna, WIFI, fully equipped gym and the warmth of our hospitality.
