The accomodation itself is situated along the beach front and is within walking distance of the worldclass Ardglass Golf Course which has previously won the European Links Golf Destination Of The Year (2011) among other honours and also boasts the oldest clubhouse in

the world. The property itself contains its own kitchen. Two bathrooms; both with showers and one with bath. Two separate bed rooms; triple glazing and under floor heating. It is perfectly suited to a cross section of guests; e.g. Family break by the sea side, a group of golfers, a couple looking for a quiet seaside retreat, etc. On arrival you will be provided with tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, sugar, bread, butter, breakfast cereal, salt & pepper. Guests will have ready access to the beach and private gated parking on site. The apartment is attached to the main residence making us easily accessible if required. The property is furnished in a contemporary manner; with a wide variety of Sky TV channels, PlayStation and Internet access. One unique feature is the glass covered well in the centre of the apartment floor. There is adequate storage space for golf gear, surfboards etc. Fresh towels and toiletries are also provided. Access to washing facilities is available if required. We your hosts will go out of our way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible e.g. Making restaurant reservations, booking golf tee times etc. Coney Island, as made famous by Van Morrison and Terry George’s Oscar winning film “The Shore” is a small picturesque hamlet between the historic village of Ardglass and Killough. You are 45minutes from Belfast and less than 30 from the Mourne Mountains and Newcastle however there is a number of excellent bars and restaurants close at hand should you wish to dine locally. Public transport is also available should you wish to avail of it. This is an excellent base for golfing, fishing, walking and water sports.
