Our homes have been getting creative with fun ways to keep moving! 🥊

At Barking Hall, residents enjoyed a brilliant boxing session, putting their skills and energy to the test. Meanwhile, Bedhampton Court got competitive with a spot of balloon tennis, with some brilliant shots and plenty of competition! 🎾🎈

It’s fantastic to see residents getting involved, trying something different and keeping active in ways that are fun, engaging and accessible.

Our homes are filled with artists! 🎨

From colourful creations to beautiful seasonal artwork, our residents have really been getting creative across our homes recently!

At Haughgate House, a sea-themed wreath brought shells, dolphins and starfish together to create a beautiful piece for the dining room. Residents at The Manor House have been designing their own personalised door signs 🐬🫟

Over at The Chase, residents explored an exciting abstract art technique using texture paste and hot glue, experimenting with colour and texture to create truly unique artwork, while Tenchley Manor got autumn-ready with drawing and colouring. 🍂

It’s wonderful to see so much creativity, imagination and individuality shining through across our homes. A huge well done to all our talented artists! 💜

When the music comes on, it’s time to dance! 🕺🎶

There’s nothing quite like the joy that music can bring, and at Sovereign Lodge, residents love getting up, moving along and enjoying the moment!

From a little toe-tapping to getting up on the dance floor, music brings energy, smiles and plenty of fun to life at the home! 💜

Another week, another round of wonderful outings! 🌞

We love celebrating the fantastic trips our residents have been enjoying and we’re certainly not running out of adventures! 🚌

Aldringham Court enjoyed a relaxing trip to Aldeburgh seafront, Handford House celebrated National Beach Day with a visit to Felixstowe, Avon Lodge enjoyed a lovely lunch with family, and Haughgate House explored Alde Carr Farm, including the café, gardens and farm shop.

It’s wonderful to see so many of our homes getting out and about, enjoying new experiences and spending time together. 💙

Four-legged friends always brings plenty of joy across our homes! 🐾

Our homes have enjoyed some very special doggy visitors this week, with Isla, Poppy, Penny and Larry bringing plenty of cuddles, smiles and companionship.

It’s always lovely to see the joy these visits bring to residents, from sharing cuddles and treats to simply spending time together! 🐶💜

Music and fantastic entertainment across our homes! 🎤

Our homes have been enjoying some wonderful live music recently, with talented performers bringing plenty of familiar favourites and good times to our residents.

From Elvis classics with Barry Tone at The Gables, to the Selsey Molls at Tenchley Manor, Angelo at Ladymead, and Simply Jen at Bedhampton Court, there’s been something for everyone to enjoy! 🎸🎶

Residents have been singing along, dancing, tapping their feet and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere that live music brings! 💜

More adventures from our care homes! 🚌

It’s been another busy week of days out, with our residents making the most of the sunshine and enjoying some wonderful trips together!

🌳 Barking Hall enjoyed a beautiful morning at Needham Lake, taking in the wildlife and sunshine with coffee and cake.

🌸 Uvedale Hall had a lovely afternoon at a garden centre in Woodbridge, enjoying flowers, fish, tea and cake.

🦁 Claremont enjoyed a full day exploring Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, with plenty of amazing animals to see and a picnic along the way.

🦆 Kingsmead headed to Coate Water for some fresh air, beautiful surroundings and quality time together.

From wildlife and gardens to coffee and cake, it’s wonderful to see our residents getting out, exploring new places and creating more special memories together! 💙

At Ladymead Care Home, the team recently enjoyed a lovely staff picnic – a chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some good food and spend time together.

We know how much our care teams give to residents every day, which is why taking time to look after our staff is just as important. Moments like these are a great opportunity to relax, recharge and strengthen the wonderful team spirit at Ladymead.

Because when we take care of our team, they can continue to give their very best to those they care for! 💚

Residents have been getting creative with arts and crafts across our homes and brighten up their surroundings! 🎨

At Walcot Hall, residents created colourful hot air balloons and butterflies using cellophane and sticky-back plastic, with plenty of sparkle added too! Meanwhile, Uvedale Hall enjoyed an afternoon of knitting, painting 3D flowers and trying their hand at origami. 🫟🦋

Over at The Hillings, residents created beautiful artwork featuring flowers growing from watering cans, while Bedhampton Court residents used their creativity to paint colourful rocks for the garden, with designs including rainbows, bees and turtles.

It’s been lovely to see everyone getting creative, trying new things and adding their own personal touches to the homes and gardens! 🧡

Our residents have been enjoying some wonderful days out recently! 🌞

Residents from The Manor House enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Aylsham Garden Centre, treating themselves to delicious cakes and tea while spending time exploring the centre. ☕🍰

While over at Ladymead, residents had a fabulous day at the Bristol Zoo Project, spotting an amazing variety of animals and enjoying a picnic lunch in the sunshine. 🦒🧺

And residents from Oaklands enjoyed a special private visit to Southwold Museum, learning more about the town’s history and local community before relaxing with refreshments on the green in the sunshine.

It’s always lovely to see our residents getting out and about, exploring new places and enjoying the sunshine! 💜
