A very sad post incoming from me.

Unfortunately we have now sold our lodge to the new Ardlui site owners. It was just not sustainable for us to own the lodge without us being able to rent it out and we really were left with no other option.

To say I am gutted is an understatement, I put my heart into making the lodge perfect for everyone that visited. Every time I was up there I was doing some form of DIY to make the lodge better.

I need to also take this time to thank my wonderful family and friends that helped me with my cleaning and gardening, you have all been wonderful and I love you all loads! Thanks also to the fabulous staff at Ardlui that have helped me with the lodge over the years, I really appreciate it.

I made so many happy memories there, but at the moment I just feel devastated about it no longer being our little piece of heaven.

Thanks to everyone that has visited us over the years. I really appreciate your custom. I will leave you all with the last video I took as I was leaving (I managed to stop crying for a bit to film this, although I am now crying writing this post!!

A wee sad news update for me. I have known this for a while but just couldn't bring myself to make a post as I am really sad about it all.

Unfortunately the holiday park where our Lodge is located has been recently taken over by new owners. The new owners are not allowing any lodge owners at the site to rent out their lodges, so we only have until May 31st of this year then we can't rent out any more.

So if anyone fancies a trip to the lodge before the end of May, please send me a message and I will let you know availability and costs and how to book.

Really gutted by it all.
