August's Tide Table for Arnside

Something exciting is happening in Arnside this Sunday! 💚

This Sunday, 26th July, our friends at Bay Search and Rescue will be hosting a very special Quicksand Rescue fundraising event near to The Bob-In Café between 12pm and 2pm (after the tide).

The event is raising money for the incredible Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, with two of their amazing consultants, along with Bay Search and Rescue’s good friend Mick, taking part in a professionally managed quicksand rescue demonstration!

The brave volunteers will intentionally enter the quicksand (under the close supervision of the expert Bay Search and Rescue team) before being safely rescued as part of the demonstration.

It promises to be a fascinating event to watch, giving you the chance to see the amazing skills of the Bay Search and Rescue team in action while supporting a fantastic cause!

We’re proud to support Bay Search and Rescue by providing storage for their equipment here at The Bob-In Café, so we’re delighted to see this event taking place right on our doorstep.
