Sumertime in the British countryside, you can’t beat it 🌾 😍 🇬🇧

We live on an old farm that used to belong to this farming family.

My husband used to work on the farm and stack bales in the barn we now live in 🤪

My office is where the shepherd stayed during lambing season.

We saved an old barn that’s now a holiday let with the best view overlooking the harvest action 🚜

How life and purpose for buildings change, yet farming continues (despite everything) providing for us all 🙌🙏🍽️

Mammoth weeding hours put in this week. Now just the edging to do!

Annoyingly I didn’t capture any before pics 🤦‍♀️

But now our guests can see our beautiful milling circle once again, where the donkeys/mules once worked😍

We take bedding seriously here - there’s certain things I’m very particular about, and this is one of them!

We always go for a certain style (natural stripe) but it also has to be either 100% cotton or a linen/cotton mix.

So this time we’ve gone for The Edited Life from and I love it 🥰

Early days but really pleased with it so far!

Pinkies crossed our guests agree and that it compliments the super comfy bed 🤞 (which we always get great feedback on)
