Facebook served up one of those memories today that stops you in your tracks… ❤️
Fourteen years ago, August Bank Holiday weekend, our then four-year-old son Joe was rocking out in Jubilee Gardens at the Arundel Festival. 🎶
For more than 20 years, Arundel has been part of our lives. We have visited family here, spent countless Bank Holiday weekends at the Festival, eaten, drunk, walked, explored and made an awful lot of memories here.
So this week has felt like a bit of a pinch-me, full-circle moment…
Have you seen the news? 👀
Caroline and I have officially been announced as the hosts of the brand new Visit Arundel Podcast, launching at the end of September! 🎙️
We will be meeting and chatting to some of the brilliant people who make Arundel and the surrounding area what it is, sharing their stories and celebrating the places, businesses, events and characters that make this little corner of Sussex so special.
Of course, what most people do not know is that Caroline has essentially been a one-woman mouthpiece for Arundel for the last 20+ years anyway… she just gets a microphone and an official title now. 😂🎙️
From bringing a four-year-old Joe to the Arundel Festival to now getting the opportunity to help tell the stories of the town we have loved for so long.
Yep. Definitely a full-circle moment. ❤️
We cannot wait to get started.
