District Boundary Walk and minutes from the Tissington Trail, Thor's Cave, Pooles Cavern, Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale Stepping Stones. Fenny Bentley Village is perfectly placed to explore local trails on foot or bike with footpaths accessible from the doorstep. You can even paddle a kayak on Carsington Water. If culture, heritage, shopping or cuisine is more your thing then the equally lovely towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell are readily accessible as it Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ilam, Matlock and the Spa town of Buxton. Whenever you choose to stay, you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you are a walker, cyclist, outdoor enthusiast or a climber there is much to do in this fabulous scenic location and stunning countryside. There’s plenty of space for a run around and a lovely seating area where you can enjoy a glass or two of something and look to the distant hills as the sun goes down with a soundtrack of singing birds and church bells. If you prefer not to cook there’s two very good pubs a short stroll away or there’s a huge choice of eateries and inns in Ashbourne just a couple of miles down the road, or why not adventure and find a traditional little Inn in one of the nearby villages
The Casey has off road parking and a large secure Garage with Bike Racks and space to store your kayak, canoe or outdoor gear. Once you step in through the front door, hang up your coat and kick off your boots you will feel at home in the cosy sitting room with tiled flooring, contemporary furniture and a welcoming wood-burning stove. The open stairway divides the sitting room from the modern, well-equipped kitchen which has a useful breakfast bar. The two bedrooms are tastefully presented with exposed roof beams and consist of a double and a single. The designer bathroom has a P-shaped bath with a shower over to refresh or to soak those weary limbs at the end of the day. Rather quirkily, there’s a door on the first floor landing which leads out to the lovely South facing garden and stepping stones leading to the garage and parking area.
