I can’t put into words just how proud we feel to receive such amazing words 😍

“After staying in MANY holiday cottages, cabins, lodges and luxury stays all over the UK, we can honestly say that Snug as a Bug at Mayfield Snuggery is the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. You can tell the owners genuinely take enormous pride in cleanliness, and it shows in every single detail.

The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with a luxurious open-plan living space, an incredible bathroom, private hot tub and sauna, making the perfect place to relax.

We were also celebrating an anniversary, where the owners went above and beyond by surprising us with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ banner, card, chocolates and a nice bottle of Prosecco - all at no extra cost. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the stay feel even more special.

It’s rare to find somewhere where you genuinely can’t think of a single negative, but that’s how we felt at Mayfield Snuggery. The attention to detail, exceptional cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality and luxurious surrounding made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

Mayfield Snuggery on tour 🇬🇧
Some of the Snuggery ladies have spent the last 2 days in London…

Tower of London✔️
Mamma Mia The Party at The O2 arena✔️
Breakfast at the iconic Ritz✔️

We got a local taxi from Mayfield Snuggery Lodges to Derby train station (30 min journey)

We then got a train from Derby to London St Pancras (1 hour 35 mins)

The final leg of our journey was a black cab to where we stayed, right next to the Tower of London.

We packed such a lot in during our short time in London and we all had a fabulous time in helping Louise & Yvonne celebrate their special milestone birthdays 🎈

It can’t be all work and no play now can it 😉

We’re now back home, ready for work tomorrow, when our holiday lodges will once again be cleaned from top to bottom ready for our weekend guests 🏡✨

❓Do you live in a UK city and want to stay at Mayfield Snuggery but want to leave the car at home / don’t drive?
Our five beautiful hot tub lodges are sited on the border of Staffordshire & Derbyshire, with really great travel connections.

Examples of UK city train journeys:
Train from London to Derby - 1 hour 30 mins
Train from Liverpool to Uttoxeter - 1 hour 35
Train from Birmingham to Derby - 45 mins
Train from Edinburgh to Derby - 4 hour 25
Train from York to Derby - 1 hour 35
Train from Bath to Derby - 2 hour 40
Train from Southampton to Uttoxeter - 4 hours

Connecting from the train station to us:
Uttoxeter train station - 20 min taxi drive to us
Derby train station - 30 min taxi drive to us
Trent Barton ‘Swift’ bus also runs a regular service from both Derby and Uttoxeter but will require some walking to the bus stop when arriving at either Uttoxeter or Derby.
