A wonderful way to start the New Year at Derbyshire House, Ashbourne!

Here’s a snapshot of the cozy, twinkly view last night in Ashbourne from one of the apartments at Derbyshire House. The town is all beautifully lit up for Christmas!

All four apartments in the property (Milldale, Beresford Dale, Manifold Dale and Dovedale) have the same view, looking out onto the Market Place.

We are full for Christmas, but bookings are open for 2026 to enjoy the sights and attractions of the town, and walk off the excesses of the festive season with the Peak District on the doorstep!

This new circular route of just over 42 miles skirts an area not too far from the very edges of Ashbourne, near Parsley Hay.

Just lately we've had groups of hikers staying at Derbyshire House, enjoying the opportunities to walk locally - and further afield using the town's public transport network - as well as sampling the wide range of food and drink options on the doorstep of Derbyshire House to keep energy levels topped up.
