Callow Hall is a unique country house hotel with an unrivalled setting and renowned restaurant, situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District, close to the lively market town of Ashbourne. Surrounded by 35 acres of private garden, fields and woodland overlooking the Bentley Brook and vale of the River Dove, this ivy-clad luxury Dovedale hotel really is a haven of peace and tranquillity but also a perfect base for exploring the splendours that Derbyshire and the Peak District have to offer. As you step into the elegant hall, it's like stepping back in time with elaborate ceilings, heavily draped curtains, oak staircases and other wonderful touches, not forgetting the fresh flowers that add magnificent colour and scents. Autumn at Wildhive Callow Hall 🍂🍁

There's a particular kind of magic at Callow Hall when the season turns. The woodland glows copper and gold, mist settles over the Derbyshire hills, and the air has that crisp, woodsmoke edge that makes coming back indoors feel like a reward.

Whether you choose a characterful room in the main house, a Hive tucked among the trees or a Treehouse up in the canopy, autumn stays here are made for slowing down.

Spend your days wandering the meadows, woodland and the trails beyond, then follow your appetite to the Garden Room. Our seasonal menus are full of nourishing, comforting dishes that celebrate local produce.

When it's time to truly unwind, the Coach House is waiting. Warm through in one of our thermal cabins, then let a relaxing massage ease away whatever tension is left.

Join us for the launch of an exciting new partnership between Wildhive and The Grange, Hampshire's award-winning English sparkling w**e estate.

Wildhive founder Ed and Grange owner Zam, share a passion for the countryside, sustainable living, and good food and w**e enjoyed with friends.

To celebrate this new partnership, join us for a special dinner at Callow Hall on Monday 26th October hosted by Ed and Zam.

A four-course seasonal menu curated by head chef Tom Burton, with English w**e pairings straight from the vineyard will be served in the beautiful Dovedale Room at Callow Hall. Zam will talk about his inspiration for the Grange, the journey from vine to bottle and what makes English sparkling w**e so special. Just 20 spaces available. £110 per person.

We're delighted to announce that Ewan Taylor has joined the team as General Manager of Wildhive Eshott Hall, our new hotel in Northumberland.

Ewan brings nearly two decades of luxury hospitality experience, most recently as General Manager at Oriental Residence Bangkok, along with real experience of hotel openings.

"It's a house with real character in a beautiful corner of Northumberland, and opening it with a team who care as much as this one does is a rare opportunity. I'm looking forward to welcoming our first guests." – Ewan Taylor

From the hand-painted Delft tiles around the fireplace, to the Garden Room's striking new architecture sitting seamlessly alongside the old, to fabrics chosen to echo the colours of the landscape beyond the windows, and the carefully curated art on the walls.

Interior designer Isabella Worsley's refurbishment, five years on, still feels effortlessly right and fresh.
