Our Story

Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays is a family run business specialising in large, luxury self catering country cottages with hot tubs within Derbyshire and the Peak District. Our self catering accommodation is located close to the pretty market town of Ashbourne just edging the magnificent Peak District national Park and close to beautiful Dovedale, Tissington and Carsington Water. Billys Bothy has been awarded 5 star and gold awards over many years. This large luxury self catering cottage which has 6, all en suite bedrooms available can sleep up to 16 with use of quality occasional beds and is ideal as party house for family celebrations, reunions and hen parties. A cosy log fire, hot tub, sauna and snooker room can be available for you, pampering and catering also available by arrangement. Large, well stocked gardens surround the property and overlook our nature lake and the lovely Henmoor Valley and you are welcome to view them enjoying the flowers, trees and wildlife that are in abundance.

We are now able to host your wedding party at Offcote Grange with accommodation on site at Billys Bothy. We have two lovely sites for your wedding both here at Offcote Grange, choose whichever suits the size of your wedding party with the knowledge that you will have sole use of the venue. Its a fantastic site with fabulous views over the valley and large landscaped gardens for your guests to admire. There are purpose built luxury toilets and a shower, and the site has many electricity and water points for your event. There is a large amount of off road car parking for all guests. Our three cheeky donkeys will wear their bow ties for your wedding.

Each year in June we host the Ashbourne Festival ‘ Poetry in the Garden Event’, a lovely day of gardens and entertainment for all ages- food and drinks available.

Centrally located in this picturesque county our accommodation is a short drive to Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Kedleston, Haddon, Sudbury and Hardwick Halls, also Calke Abbey . Carsington Water, Wild Park Leisure, Crich Tramway Museum, Midland Railway, Heights of Abraham are just a few of the many attractions and activities that Derbyshire and the Peak District have to offer.
