A decision we have not taken lightly but we need to do what is safe and follow recommendations from the fire service. On the plus side, we have had some lovely warm evenings on the farm with dark skies perfect for stargazing. Toasting marshmellows on the BBQ is just as much fun!

Country show season is here, and some of the best are right on our doorstep in the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. Whether you come for the livestock and heavy horses, the vintage tractors, or just the food halls and craft stalls, there's a show for you — no farming knowledge required, just a great day out on offer.

This lady chose the BEST spot to calve this morning, just next to Bluebell Pod with an amazing view (not sure she’d be looking at that though during labour!). A first time mother who had a text book calving and both cow and calf are doing well. A beautiful sight for this weekends guests

Keeping everything crossed for the next generation of our shire horses….🐴
Upper Delves Lady Lily, the 2nd foal born here at Mulino, is now almost 5 and is due her very first foal this June to the stunning grey stallion Sparkland Ben at Metheringham Upton Shires

We know first hand how difficult breeding these magnificent heavy horses can be so we are keeping everything crossed that we have a healthy shire foal born this summer🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Sheep chaos at breakfast time. Easter is a busy time on the farm as these pregnant ladies are a week off lambing. A clip from this morning…and what a beautiful morning it is in Derbyshire!
