The Staunton Harold Estate is a traditional country estate of some 2000 acres centered on the great Georgian mansion, Staunton Harold Hall. Nestling in a corner of North West Leicestershire, close to the Derbyshire border, The Deerpark Lodge built using estate timber for its frame and cladding provides a contemporary retreat overlooking the parkland. rpark Lodge still has access to the craft centre, tea rooms, delicatessen (at weekends) and garden nursery which forms part of the Staunton Harold Estate. There are also magnificent lakes upon which guests can fish by arrangement at nil charge and there are numerous walks throughout the estate. Occupants of the lodge can access the 28 acres of privately owned land which is otherwise not open to the public. The transport links are second to none with close proximity to the M1, M42, A50, East Midlands Airport. Alton Towers and Chatsworth are 1 hours drive away.
