Obie… why is it SO quiet here?!
Because after 7 loooong weeks, the kids are FINALLY back at school!

So Mums… grab that HOT coffee ☕️ — yes, HOT, not reheated for the fourth time — sit down and enjoy it without any interruptions. You deserve it! 💗

And just like that, our summer season is coming to an end… and what a summer it’s been!

Honestly, we have had THE BEST SUMMER GUESTS EVER!

Everything almost went smoothly…

⚡️ We had one family book at 8:30pm and arrive half an hour later to find the whole village in a BLACKOUT! Thankfully the power was only off for a few hours and they were absolute stars about it.

💧 Then another family woke up to no water for a couple of hours thanks to local South East Water issues. Bottled water to the rescue… and they still managed to enjoy the pool!

We’ve even had one of our chickens get very relaxed on a guest’s lap… and leave a rather unwanted little gift! 💩🙈 Luckily, one of the perks of us living on-site meant a quick laundry rescue and everything was clean and dry again by the afternoon!

🥹 And then there have been the tears. So many sad little faces when it’s time to pack up and go home. 💔

Hopefully they’re mainly “see you soon” goodbyes, because we would absolutely LOVE to welcome you all back again.

So a huge THANK YOU to every single family who stayed with us this summer. You really have made it our best season yet. You arrive as guests, and leave as friends!

When we started Kent Cosy Cabin, we hoped people would love our little slice of heaven as much as we do, but seeing such lovely feedback from our guests means the absolute World to us.

WOW, WOW, WOW! 🥹💙
What a journey!

From four tiny pups to now zero. It's been massively rewarding, an epic amount of hard work and, YES... I would absolutely do it all again! ❤️

I'm happy to report that our final pup and 4th born, the very fluffy and handsome Biscuit, has now left for his forever home in Reading. Luckily he's not too far away, and I'm sure we'll be seeing him again on one of our next pack walks!

He has been an absolute delight — they all have. 💙 Biscuit is such a chilled-out boy, happy to meet absolutely anyone with the waggiest of tails and a constant smile on his face. Probably the noisiest of the litter 😂 — if Biscuit needs you, he will certainly let you know! But he's also incredibly independent. Being the last puppy to leave at 10½ weeks has given him some precious extra one-to-one time with Mum and helped his confidence grow even more.
He's heading off into the world a happy, confident little boy who has already experienced so much, and we can't wait to watch him grow and follow all the adventures ahead with his new family. 🐾

It's never really a sad goodbye when you know they're going to families who will be the very best keepers. I like the word keepers, because you never really own a dog. They steal a piece of your heart, and you are theirs forever. ❤️
