It's time for a staff appreciation post!
We can't lie, the recent weather has its advantages for our industry (& icecream sales!) - generally speaking, everyone's happy on holiday when the sun is shining and so are we! It feels a bit picky to start complaining that now things might be going a "little too far", and we definitely don't want to moan.
However, what is necessary is to extend a massive thank you to all of our team who are working so hard in these extreme conditions - like usual, they are absolutely going above and beyond for our guests and it hasn't been easy!
So, thank you to Housekeeping who are still cleaning with gusto and generally spreading their fairy magic everywhere, despite the insane temperatures. Getting up at silly o'clock to do what can be done early, before it's got too hot, and carrying on regardless when it does. Thank you to all the maintenance team who have been stepping in to help out Housekeeping whenever & whereever possible; it hasn't gone unnoticed. Their welcomes are just as lovely for the 25th arrival of the day, as they were for the 1st. For everyone working in Reception, thank you too - I know the fans are now just blowing around hot air, and your brains are frazzled, but you carry on with a smile regardless. We're so fortunate to have such an amazing team - your efforts are incredible. If I could put you all in a little self contained aircon bubble, I would, but instead, for now, I'll have to settle for "THANK YOU"!!!
