A birthday spent the right way. Samantha's son caught 4 carp during their stay in Lodge 2, 12lb, 16lb, 18lb and 21lb, plus five tench.

Another lovely week at the lakes for Rebecca and the group, back again and already looking ahead to a return in September. Quiet evenings by the water, plenty of fish showing, and one happy angler with a carp landed after dark.

It was lovely speaking to David this morning. It's his first time staying for his friend's 70th and they're already planning a trip back!

They've had 30+ fish per day - roach, tench and rudd as well as one carp - and have been really impressed by how healthy all the fish they have caught look.

The Morris family come to Ashby Farms at least twice a year, and when they come, they book all the lodges so that the kids can have free reign of the grounds🎣

"We all loved it again and have re-booked for next year. We had plenty of fish even though the weather wasn't ideal — 40 carp to 28lb and a load of tench up to 7lb. Thanks for another great week. We're back in 59 days!"
