It is with great sadness, that we are closing our beautiful yurt.
12 years of amazing guests, and wonderful times.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, ongoing and lengthy building works opposite us have reduced our bookings so much in the last few years, that it is no longer viable for us to keep going.
So. The yurt will be up for sale in the near future.
We would like to thank all our lovely guests over the last 12 years, we have loved hosting you and the experience has enriched our lives.

Evening sun on the yurt. How lovely after all the rain. We have weekends free in August!

Our new little field kitchen. Built next to the yurt bathroom. Enables our guests to be independent when they stay.
Alongside toaster and mini fridge, and the stove for tea making in the yurt itself.
Luxury camping!

Stay with us and take a trip on a steam train from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle.
A lovely day out with a picnick!

At last!!!! We are ready for yurt guests.
Our first guests arrive today.
Cottage Garden Yurt is looking as beautiful as ever. Wrapped in it's foliage and flowers, looking over the meadow.

Today the floor has been rubbed down and varnished. The oak door, freshly varnished and the grass cut.
Tomorrow, we will put in the log burner, and tweak all the lining, ready for furniture.

A sundowner at the yurt!
We are so late getting going this year due to many reasons! But this week is our last push to get the yurt on its feet, furnish and add the love it deserves.

Summer seems like a lost dream. So, I like to remind myself how lovely things will be in a few months time. Cottage Garden Yurt will be back in 2023! Our plans for a cabin have been put on hold for the present, but we plan a small kitchen area for the yurt so it can be self catering . Watch this space!

We have a few precious weekends available at our lovely yurt,
before we take it down for ever. After 10 years of yurting, we have decided to build a very arty cabin to replace it.
So, come and stay before we sell it!
