ChipX will be closed this weekend. I am really sorry but before the sun comes out and I'm raring to go again ( so I can't change my mind) I needed to say it. Im sure no one wants to hear about my medical issues ( so you dont need to carry on reading but i feel i need to explain myself ) I was asked where my crutches were on Friday night as there were a few sets going about in Aultbea and I still need to use mine too - fortunately, not all the time but they're out on full time duty again now. Anyway, I was in pain at the time and didnt want to let anyone down by us not being open when we'd said we would. ChipX is a great distraction from my ongoing issues with my hips and i dont notice pain when I'm actually in there strangely but my brain and my body dont agree and it seems the body won. I have hurt my foot due to too much standing and the way I walk and before I do more serious damage I need to rest it up and let it recover. I never thought ChipX would be this popular and im delighted and loving it and want to carry on. So thank you very much to all our wonderful customers for coming, for all the likes, shares and lovely comments they really do keep me going and are well appreciated. See you soon. PS I don't need pity - its self inflicted sort of. Ha ha
