New option for our guests, flight Frankfurt to Inverness, starting next summer . 😁

A new international connection is coming to Inverness!

Discover Airlines will operate a new direct service between Inverness and Frankfurt from 19 June 2027.

Flying every Saturday until 11 September, the service will be the first-ever direct connection between Inverness and Frankfurt and the first time Discover Airlines has operated from Inverness Airport.

The route will give passengers across the Highlands and Islands a new direct link to Germany, as well as onward connections through Frankfurt.

Serving in Aultbea, this Friday n Saturday...
Fish, n chips, burgers, dressed crab & squat lobster (local delicacy) from the loch and for dessert.. homemade traditional clootie dunpling

ChipX will be open in Aultbea opposite the village hall on Friday night and at home at 54 Mellon Charles above Loch Ewe Pods on Saturday night 5.30 ish both nights. Hoping to have some dressed crab available and some Squats with Marie rose sauce. Please note our dressed crab has no fillers to bulk it out the only additive is salt. Having bought a dressed crab recently as a sample I was suprised to see they also add vinegar- its not for me.

Come rain or shine ChipX will be in Aultbea 5.30 ish tomorrow night and Mellon Charles Saturday - my husband is insisting on it. Ha ha

Pies at The Shop at the Pier....
Each of our village shops are well stocked for all of your day to day needs and include many items that you cannot get in the 'big shops'!

Another exclusive to The Shop At The Pier is our amazing home made pies. We have got another batch of these majestic pies going on the freezer shelf tomorrow. Examples on the flyer but many more both meat and vegetarian to be had.
