Update from Cairngorms Mountain Resort. Will be fantastic if the funicular really does operate this winter!

🎿We are delighted to announce our snowsports season will open on Friday 20th December and our early bird season passes are now on general sale.

Following updates from our parent company Highlands and Islands Enterprise we continue to expect the funicular to be back in service for the upcoming snowsports season. We can’t provide any further updates right now, however keep an eye out on our page and website for further updates.

Here’s some key points for our snowsports customers:
✔️ Winter season opens Friday 20th December and runs to Sunday 20th April 2025 (weather permitting).
✔️ Early bird season passes are on general sale now, with prices held from last year.
✔️ If you buy your early bird pass you’ll save over 35% off the standard price, when buying by 30th November 2024 (based on an adult ticket price).
✔️ Day passes will go on sale closer to the opening date, however you can browse our day prices online now.
✔️ Check out our FAQ’s on our website regarding our season passes.

We’ll share progress as soon as we can and look forward to welcoming you this winter!

Hey everyone, COOP Aviemore will be reopening Thursday 7th November at 7am!!
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We have now got self service tills, Bakery, Costa coffee machine and a total new layout and range.

I would like to advise guests that the Coop is currently closed for refurbishment and will reopen again on November 7th 2024. You do forget how handy it is! But there are still plenty of options in the town.

One of our favourite tea rooms has closed. The Potting Shed tearoom at Inshriach Nursery has closed. This will be a big loss as it was a great place for tea and cake whilst watching the birds and the squirrels. You can read more about the reasons why at their website:

Treat yourself to a slice of Norway in the old potting shed, which is now our rustic tearoom serving tea and cakes. Enjoy a hot beverage and a slice from our excellent selection of fresh, homemade cakes, which are baked on the premises.
