Please don't leave Grantown on Spey without a visit to Kj's Bothy Bakery Grantown! They have the best breads, cakes and savouries (trying the focaccia is a must!). If you need directions, ask us, or visit their page below to find out all about them. It's a nice walk or a 10 minute bike ride from The Cottage in Grantown (or a few minutes drive if you need to take the car). P.s. they do amazing coffee too!

There's so much to do nearby this summer! Rothiemurchus are launching a new Rothiemurchus Falconry experience in July which is just a 20 minute drive from Grantown on Spey.

Autumn is the best time of year! The colours changing weekly are spectacular and many outdoor activities in our area carry on through into the autumn months (just add a warm jacket) and if we're lucky, we'll get some snow a little later on too! 🛶 🚵 🍂 🍁

Beach days at Nairn ☀️ A lovely scenic drive (around 25 mins) from Grantown, Nairn and it’s beautiful beach is a great day out for shoreline walks, fish and chips and ice cream on days like this!🍦 🏖

An awesome day out and a great rainy day activity! Not far from Grantown on Spey is where you can white water raft, river tube and cliff jump. Great for kids and adults and most abilities (check their web site for all the details) - Our kids absolutely loved it. 🛶 🌊
