🎉 Exciting news! We're welcoming visitors back to An Lochan Uaine (the Green Lochan).

After weeks of hard work from our teams and contractors, The Ryvoan Trail - which includes access to An Lochan Uaine - has been made safe for the public.

The full Meall a' Bhuachaille circuit and access to Ryvoan Bothy are also open. However, a section of the right of way to Nethy Bridge remains closed beyond Ryvoan Bothy where work continues.

This summer's wildfire caused significant damage to Glenmore Forest Park. We've removed fire-damaged and unstable trees from the edges of forest roads and our waymarked walking trails.

However, there are still dangerous trees in some places, and a risk of falling trees and branches in the area between the Ryvoan Trail and the ski road. Please stay on the open forest roads and waymarked trails here, and follow all on-site signage.

🤔 'What's this SkiMore all about then?'
SkiMore is our business name for the Infinity Ski Slope which is basically a gigantic indoor treadmill with a rotating heavy duty belt, mimicking a continuous downhill slope!
It is covered...So it isn't Scottish weather dependent and is useble all year round🤩

❄️'Is it fake snow?'
No! The surface of the belt uses synthetic turf-like material that mimics snow friction.

🎿'How does it work?'
The belt rotates upward toward the skier while the user skis downward against the motion.
Instructors are present during your session and will control adjustable settings to suit you, allowing for a change in speed and angle (incline) of the slope to make it easier or harder to use.
A 30-minute session on SkiMore can provide the same muscle load and terrain coverage as half a day on a traditional mountain piste. A proper High Intensity Workout🥵

🎿'Is it only for experienced skiers?'
Not at all, it is great for beginners — the controlled environment allows people to learn basic movements before facing the real slopes!
It isn't just a beginner attraction; experienced skiers can improve fitness, core strength and flexibility. Perfect for improving technique.
Pre-holiday ski sessions will help you build stamina to take advantage of longer days on the mountain. You’ll also have more energy and be less likely to injury yourself when your holiday comes around.

📍'Where exactly is it?'
SkiMore will be situated within the grounds of Outdoor Discovery which is Infront of The Woodshed Bar (convenient 😉) Coylumbridge Resort Hotel

⛷️'AMAZING...Can I book it now?'
Not quite yet....We are still in the construction phase right now. Our steel frame is due to be erected October 5th. Then it'll be full steam ahead for the team and we will be able to give you an opening date🥳
