So Happy To Announce We Shall Be Reopening Again This Thursday, 22nd July 😀👨‍🍳

We still have staffing issues, so will be opening with a small, but delicious menu with daily specials. We have so much to do over the next few days to get ready to welcome you all, so please bear with us why we put everything in place. We shall be limiting numbers to start with, as we have to train new kitchen staff. We hope in the coming weeks to be able to serve 60 covers per night, Tables of up to 8 covers. Hospitality has changed immensely over the past year, hopefully for the better in the long run. Short term independent restaurants will struggle with finding staff, steeply rising costs and restrictions, restrictions and more restrictions!! We will be trying our best to restore our little restaurant to its full potential, the road ahead may be difficult, but we are so determined to succeed. We look forward to welcoming you all soon.

We often have capercaillie nesting around Rymore, so please do bare this post in mind whilst exploring the area.

We’ve not spotted one on the Lodge’s wildlife cameras yet, but if you do see a capercaillie or any other exciting wildlife, please do send us in some pictures. 😀 🐱🦊🐸🦅🦉🦇🦋🦡🐿🦔🐾

Rymore’s very own Winter Watch, complete with a night time “nature cam” focused on the patio outside the kitchen and 4 little fans. 😍😍 Just after these wildlife enthusiasts went to bed, a badger was spotted on the camera 🦡 . Cue lots of excitement this morning. Not sure we’ll get them to bed tonight - we’ve told them to look out for the two pine martins spotted on Winter Watch’s cameras. 🐿🦌 🦡
