How to spend a 3 day weekend at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa

📆 Friday: arrive at your own pace and drive straight to your home-from-home as a lodge owner at Cheddar Woods. Sit outside and people watch as everyone else checks in after you. Spend the evening relaxing and catching up. Rustle up a stunning home cooked dinner using your own cooking equipment- no more blunt knives and plastic chopping boards!

📆 Saturday: visit the iconic Cheddar Gorge and tackle the iconic clifftop walk. Admire the views towards Cheddar Reservoir and Weston-Super-Mare - you might even bump into some local wildlife 🐐

Collect some local delicacies from one of the many independent shops at Cheddar Gorge and reward yourself with the viral salt beef sandwich from Cafe Gorge before heading back to Cheddar Woods Woods for an afternoon swim and some picky bits on your deck

Evening dinner - you’ll be spoilt for choice. How about fish & chips at The Bath Arms

📆 Sunday: even more exploring. Take a climb up Glastonbury Tor for spectacular views of Somerset and “home” to Cheddar Woods for a roast dinner and some live entertainment - tomorrow we’ll have an ABBA tribute band playing from 1pm - 3pm at The Bistro

📆 Monday: slow starts, no check-out time and no need to rush off. Watch as the resort springs into life with another busy changeover - a changeover that doesn’t affect you. Nothing to pack, no stress. Just lock up and leave when you are ready and take a final trip into Cheddar for a slow brunch at Lion Rock Tea Rooms
