Our holiday cottage is a one-bedroomed, romantic getaway situated 3.5 miles from the coastal resort of Lyme Regis, which is a 5 min drive away. Other beautiful beaches are Charmouth (5 mins in the other direction) and Sidmouth and West Bay, both about 30 mins away. We aim to offer luxury for your stay, so the bedlinen on the 6ft wide zip-link bed is 400 thread count, the interiors are decorated wi

th Laura Ashley paints, wallpaper and fabric and the kitchen paraphernalia are good quality brands. There is a freestanding roll-top bath situated under the rooflight so you can gaze at the stars, separate shower and even magically operated mirror in the spacious bathroom! Outside you have a private enclosed patio with access to our half acre garden, if you fancy stretching your legs! Come and stay with us for a relaxed, indulgent break - we'll do our best to make sure you won't want to leave!

There are few ways better to enjoy the East Devon AONB and the Jurassic Coast than by foot. Luckily, every year, Sidmouth plays host to the Sidmouth Walking Festival allowing you to do just that alongside experienced local walkers keen to show off the area to visitors.

📚 Big-name authors and TV stars heading to East Devon for five-day literary festival

Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival is returning this September with a packed programme featuring Bryony Gordon, Caroline Quentin, Dawn O’Porter, Patrick Gale, Liz Earle and many more.

Running from September 23–27, the festival will feature author talks, workshops, family activities and new evening events — alongside a strong spotlight on Devon’s own writers and literary heritage.

🛩️ Look up, Lyme - The Red Arrows are coming! 🔴⚪🔵

We have some exciting news...

Following the disappointment of the Red Arrows' cancelled display earlier this month, we're delighted to share that The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team is scheduled to make a flypast over Lyme Regis at 12.33pm this Saturday 29 August.

Lyme Regis is getting another chance to welcome the Reds back to our skies!

This won't be the full aerobatic display scheduled for Lifeboat Week, however, it will still be a fantastic opportunity to see the iconic planes soar over Lyme Bay... and we'll certainly be looking skywards for this one.

🕒 Scheduled for 12.33pm

If you're planning to come into town to catch a glimpse of the world-famous team, please allow plenty of time for your journey and expect Lyme Regis to be busy over the bank holiday weekend.

After nine years, even a fleeting visit from the Reds is something worth looking up for 🛩️
