Butlers Cross and the Russell Arms

This pleasant wooded walk circles the Chequers Estate, offering glimpses of the house and parkland with the prominent monument on Coombe Hill in the distance, which is where you will go to enjoy far-reaching views across the Vale of Aylesbury. It’s a tough walk but worth the effort, especially if you take a camera!
