It is Cherith and Richard’s aim to provide a high standard of service, comfort and cleanliness tailored to individual needs. Each guest bedroom has a choice of cafetiere or instant coffee and Indian or herbal teas. Fresh chilled water and complimentary soft drinks are also provided. There is a guest Drawing room. Breakfast is served in the Dining room on weekdays between 7.30 and 8.30 a.m. and on

Sunday at 9.00 a.m. It is the speciality of the house to offer guests a buffet table with a selection of cereals, yoghurt and compotes of fruit (from the garden where possible) there are homemade jams and bread. A locally sourced English breakfast is also available. The Dining room was originally a Georgian Kitchen and it has a comfortable ‘farmhouse’ feel to it. In the summer months, guests may carry their breakfast trays to their favourite spot in the garden. The River Room
The Georgian double/twin room, with ensuite shower room on the first floor overlooks the river Medway at the front of the house. It has a galley cupboard with fridge. The Garden Room
The Tudor double room overlooks the Knot Garden at the back of the house. The beamed private bathroom has recently been restored to create a Bathroom/Dressing room. There is a splendid Rainbath, a modern copy of a Victorian design. The Terrace room

Beautifully restored Historic property offering every modern comfort situated on the riverbank in Aylesford, one of the oldest and most picturesque villages in Kent. Cherith and Richard provide a warm and hospitable welcome to their bed and breakfast guests. There is a sense of romance in the Gardens. The plot contained 14 individual small gardens and was chosen by Kent Life magazine as the “Best Amateur Garden in Kent (2010)”. Also Wickham Lodge's Stable Cottage has received Alastair Sawday’s Award for “Special places to Stay for Garden Lovers.”
