Wow great picture from this year’s Festival of Flight in Ayr. 👏👏❤️✈️

Having photographed the Ayrshow a number of times in the past, I decided last night to try and get a different angle on the event, so headed out to Greenan Shore and, whllst it was a bit away for some of the aircraft on show, it proved to be a great location for the Red Arrows and the Lancaster/ Spitfire displays.

This photo shows the two vintage planes flying past Greenan Castle whilst a few people watched from that part of the world. If you'd like to see today's show, but don't want to face the crowds, this is a good alternative location to see it from.

Just down from the Judge’s Rest in Bath Place. A welcome addition to the area along with the Reel Plaice. Well done for improving the area for visitors and locals alike!💕👏👏

GOODLUCK to Rory opening his brand new coffee shop next door to us! I’ve watched him for so long working on this project himself doing all the work and putting in hard late night shifts grafting away getting everything ready inside and behind the scenes! The shops stunning, so classy and different looks unreal! The bifolding window at the front looking right on to the sea is soo good! Not to mention the coffee is unbelievable he certainly knows his stuff! This is the high end, quirky, and friendly coffee shop Ayr beach front has been waiting for! I can’t wait to see it grow! You should be proud Rory Welldone 🩵

Here are five great recommendations for visitors to the Judge’s Rest in Ayr.
For a fantastic pizza try the newly opened The Pizzaioli Ayr which has a great atmosphere and service to match; Alternatively try the Clocktower cafe restaurant on Auchincruive estate for coffee and cake or a beautiful meal in a lovely setting; If you are just looking for a cocktail or drinks try the T-bar Ayr its live music or The Smoking Goat with its good vibe. Renaldos Ices also not to be missed!

Brrr it’s certainly cold these days at Greenan Castle but the scenery is beautiful with the frost and light covering of snow. And I know someone who is just loving it all!❄️🐾☃️💕 Take care and enjoy!
