Nestled in a stunning 350 acre estate in Ayrshire, and recently refurbished in contemporary style, the resort offers luxury accommodation both within the hotel and across the estate, fine dining and multiple event space that can cater for your special event, and all set within the picturesque banks of the River Ayr. The House was built

in the late 1930’s to the highest specification by Mr William S Houston, a Scot, who returned from Canada. We have maintained the traditional features of the building, but further complimenting with a modern twist. Our Riverview Restaurant & Bar, renowned for its Afternoon Teas, fine dining & stunning views makes for a delightful culinary experience. (Please note that we are closed Monday and Tuesday - open Wednesday - Sunday from 12noon - 7pm. Our recently built, bespoke handcrafted Oak Glass Pavilion makes Enterkine Country House Resort one of Scotland's premier wedding venues. We pride ourselves on an unrivalled level of service, committed to creating the perfect setting for your special day. We are 20 minutes’ drive from Dumfries House (owned by Prince Charles), Burns Cottage and Museum and also Culzean Castle is around 40 minutes drive from the Hotel. “We just wanted to a say a massive thank you for everything you did for us on Friday, we really can’t put into words how special you made our day.

You really cared about all the small details that mattered most to us and ensured the day ran perfectly. The bridesmaids haven’t stopped talking about how amazing you are, we loved having you as part of our girl gang for the day!

Everyone at Enterkine House went above and beyond for Josh and I and we are beyond grateful for everything. We are extremely sad it’s over but will definitely be back in the future for a visit!

We will recommend Enterkine to everyone, I genuinely don’t believe you’d get a better wedding elsewhere.”

“We’re honestly struggling to find the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us, Sharon.

From the moment we arrived, throughout our incredible wedding day, and even during the little hiccup at the end, you were absolutely amazing.

At the time it all felt a bit chaotic and emotional, but once we received our photos and videos back, we were able to look back on the day with nothing but happiness and put that moment completely behind us.

We genuinely had the best day of our lives. Even when we were running slightly behind (which I didn’t even realise at the time!), you handled everything so calmly and seamlessly that we never had to worry about a thing.

Thank you for everything you did to make our wedding so special. We’ll be back up soon to see you all.”
