When is the best time to visit the Outer Hebrides? 🤔

The answer is... there's no wrong time! 💙

🌼 April to June offers some of the best weather, with long sunny days and nature bursting into life (but can still be chilly as the wind often turns to the north).

🌸 July and August bring colourful machair in full bloom, festivals, events and warmer temperatures, making them our liveliest months.

🍂 September and October are perfect for quieter adventures, golden landscapes and often mild weather.

✨ November to March is ideal if you're looking for tranquillity. While some places operate reduced hours or close for the winter, you'll be rewarded with dramatic skies, wild Atlantic scenery, exceptional stargazing thanks to our dark skies, and, if you're lucky, the chance to witness the magical Northern Lights.

So, when will you be visiting the Outer Hebrides? 😊
