😍 it brought us some January joy seeing the snowdrops up at the Manor House this week!

There are some picture perfect spots to visit around us in the Cotswolds around us this time of year, to get those beautiful first glimmers of Spring and really enjoy the countryside in these winter months.

We’ve listed some of our favourites below, which are also nearby great days out any time of year…

📍Dyrhum Park, Bath
Just 15 minutes down the road, this National Trust stately home and gardens is also home to herds of deer. It has an adventure playground and cafe and 270 acres of beautiful parkland!

📍 Painswick Rococo Gardens
This beautiful pleasure garden boasts over 5 million (!!) snowdrops on display from late January to early March. It’s about 40 minutes away from us, but paired with visits to Nailsworth and Stroud full of vibrant local makers it can make a fabulous day out.

📍Rodmarton Manor
Is a unique place to visit to stroll around it’s beautifully designed house and gardens. 25 minutes away, a lovely relaxing Cotswold experience

The first dusting of snow for 2026 ❄️ wishing all of our followers, guests that have been and guests yet to come a wonderful happy new year 🎉

We’ve loved welcoming you all to our idillyic spot here in the and we can’t wait for the year to come !

❄️ Cotswold Spa House has had its Christmas glow up 🎄 😍 ready to welcome Decembers’ guests … from festive hen parties, big birthdays to a family Christmas to remember… the walls of this epic party house could tell some stories!

Sleeping up to 27 people, with its heated indoor pool 💦 , lobby bar with a real fireplace 🔥 plus the huge expanse of outdoor space - a stay here is one for the memory books that’s for sure .

As the end of the year appears on the horizon… maybe this is on your wish list for 2026 ✨ send this to whoever’s in charge of planning the next big bash!!

Our local pub couldn’t be more local, a hop skip and a jump across the road and you’ll be welcomed by roaring fires, cosy corners, local beers and delicious pub grub 🍺 🔥

Not only is Bodkin House a great pit stop before, during and after your stay but they love catering to our guests on the estate - from pizza and graze board deliveries to and full English breakfasts, Sunday lunches or your own private dining room 🥂 🍕

When a maid of honour’s hard work pays off, and the hen weekend venue knocked everyone’s socks off 🙌 🏆 we are huge fans of this disco set up in the Manor House’s bar! 🪩 💃

We absolutely love hearing about your fabulous experiences at on the estate - and a glimpse into your unique celebrations 😍
