Hazels Roost B&B Hazel's Roost is situated in a quiet corner of Bainbridge. Formerly the Blacksmith’s workshop this building has been converted into a comfortable B & B

A warm welcome awaits you at this delightful B&B...

The first floor is solely for guests use and comprises of: Two double rooms and One twin bedded room (with outer door giving guests their own private entrance). All rooms are En-suite renovated in January 2013. In January 2014 all soft furnishings have been updated. Each room is decorated in its own individual cottage style & includes: LCD flats

creen TV, Luggage stand, Full length mirrors, Comfortable beds, Tea and coffee making facilities plus many little extra personal touches. Our prices are fully inclusive of breakfast. We also provide Free on site parking and Free WiFi internet access for guest use.

Some transport is about getting from A to B. Some is so dramatic, it's an attraction in itself. With 20 viaducts, 14 tunnels and 72 miles of track, the Settle Carlisle Railway is an incredible feat of engineering & one of most scenic routes through England. It's incredible to think that 30 years ago it nearly disappeared. Thanks to dedicated volunteers & protestors & an increase in passenger numbers it was saved for us all to enjoy & is topic of today's blog: https://www.dalesdiscoveries.com/365/settle-to-carlisle-railway
