An autumn wedding to remember

This time last year, Emily and Ben exchanged their vows at Yorebridge House under moody September skies. As they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck and it certainly did not dampen the joy of theirs. Autumn weddings in the Yorkshire Dales possess their own magic; bursting with rich amber and burgundy colour palettes, seasonal flower arrangements full of texture, and yes, always the chance of a little rain.

Emily and Ben's day was filled with everything that matters most, close friends, family and even their dog by their side. Set against the changing colours of the Dales, it was a wedding that felt entirely, perfectly them.

A new addition to our autumn menu, this dish brings together the delicate sweetness of ripe fig and the creamy depth of Yellison's goat's cheese, finished with toasted walnuts and a rich, velvety port dressing. An elegant balance of flavour and texture, crafted to showcase the season at its finest.

Yellison's goat's cheese is made just down the road in the Yorkshire Dales, and we love championing producers on our doorstep. It's this kind of local craftsmanship that gives the dish its true depth of flavour.
