Meet our Shepherd’s Huts - Five beautiful little escapes, tucked away on the Chatsworth estate, each offering its own unique way to slow down, switch off and enjoy the Peak District.

From peaceful parkland views and veteran oak trees to private walled gardens and woodland hideaways, our shepherd’s huts are all about getting away from it all, with everything you need, and nothing you don’t.

Fallow - Big enough for two and perfectly positioned to make the most of the peaceful views across Chatsworth Park.

Fallow is the kind of place where mornings are made for slow coffees, days are made for exploring and evenings are made for simply sitting back and taking in the view.

A cosy little escape, surrounded by the beauty of the Chatsworth Estate.

Mr McGregor’s Garden - The family friendly shepherd’s hut, with a little extra space for everyone.

Mr McGregor’s Garden sleeps a family with one king-size bed and two bunk beds, and comes complete with your very own private, walled garden, perfect for dining outdoors and enjoying a little time together.

And don’t worry . . . it’s completely rabbit free! 🥕

Oak Tree - Named after the magnificent oak tree that you can enjoy views of from the hut, Oak Tree is a cosy little retreat for one or two.

With space to sit outside beside the firepit, it’s made for quiet evenings, fresh air and reconnecting with the great outdoors.

Small, peaceful and perfectly placed, a little escape with a rather special view.

Stag - Tucked away in a quiet spot overlooking the parkland, Stag is all about embracing the slower pace of life.

Wake up surrounded by beautiful Chatsworth countryside, spend your days exploring and keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that calls this incredible landscape home.

A peaceful base for getting outside, getting away and enjoying the very best of the Peak District.

Woodlands - Hidden beneath a canopy of trees, Woodlands is a quiet little retreat designed for switching off and getting closer to nature.

It’s a view that never gets old. Whatever the season, whatever the weather, there’s something so special about this little corner of Heathy Lea. A view we just never tire of!

Our first ever .chatsworth x x collaboration . . . and what a way to start!

The yoga was dreamy! Set on our bottom lawn, alongside the stream, it was the perfect spot for a morning of movement, mindfulness and a little time to simply slow down.

Stress Less Club began after decided she simply needed to just well, stress less. Since then, she’s been taking her love of yoga all across the Peak District, creating spaces to move, breathe and switch off.

After yoga, we headed up to the top lawn for a delicious lunch from Charlotte’s of Baslow, complete with açai bowls and refreshing drinks, the ideal way to round off the morning.

And this is only the beginning . . . we can’t wait for the next one.

20 slides just don’t do this wedding justice.

Three years ago, M & M walked into Heathy Lea and instantly knew: “nothing else compared”

And now we’re looking back at a wedding weekend that truly had it all.

From Friday night’s champagne, homemade paella and summer skies, to Saturday’s church ceremony, spectacular arrivals and a marquee overflowing with flowers, every detail felt completely them.

Polaroids, Polish traditions, vodka flowing and a dance floor that barely stopped, Saturday was pure magic.

And then, because one day was never going to be enough, Sunday brought everyone back together for a huge BBQ, more dancing and even more memories.

M & M, your wedding weekend was unforgettable. Happy anniversary, we’d bottle this weekend up and relive it in a heartbeat.
