Each of our eight cottages have been lovingly converted from traditional style farm buildings, preserving the original character whilst being fitted out for today's lifestyle. We are conveniently located to visit many of the local attractions - including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. It was a pleasure to meet Lewis. He is based locally in Flagg Village and offers all things bushcraft/nature.

Should you be a group staying with us and feel like doing something different, Lewis can be contacted via his website for group bookings to learn about bushcraft in the local area.

He offers content such as wood carving, flint knapping, foraging, camp cooking, fire lighting amongst others (sometimes seasonal activities).

Out with the old and in with the new! This weekend we replaced the old ‘soily’ woodchip around the guest garden picnic benches with fresh plum slate chippings - a nice contrast to the grey limestone walls.

Feeling festive this morning having set up our little Christmas tree in Bakewell Church for the annual Christmas tree festival. If you’re in the area pop in, it’s free to visit.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a small yet cosy well-equipped ground floor cottage sleeping up to 2. It represents excellent value for money as a base for exploring the Peak District and is ideal for the solo traveller or couple. Dog friendly too.
