Wye Knot is a pretty bungalow in the small Market town of Bakewell. Off road parking and good sized enclosed fenced garden. Quiet area but just 7 mins walk into town with its shops, pubs and cafes. All pets stay free and allowed all areas. Lovely walks direct from the doorstep to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Lathkill Dale and Monsal Trail.

From the pretty village of Litton, this 8-mile circular walk takes you around four of the Derbyshire Dales! It’s mostly a low-level walk, with good paths so it’s a great route and there’s plenty of wildlife and nature to spot along the way.

If you are looking for a lovely 3-mile route then this Baslow Edge short walk is a great option and gives wonderful views down to the Derwent Valley.

The walk along Baslow Edge is wonderful, plenty of gritstone rocks jutting out, then down past Wellington’s Monument to an area where you have a good chance of spotting some Highland Cattle.
