📸 Do you have a child who can never just smile nicely for a photo? You know the type…. the moment the camera comes out, it’s silly faces, funny expressions, and complete chaos! 😂

Well, meet George, one of our alpacas 🦙

George has clearly mastered the art of photo bombing his own pictures. Every time we try to get a lovely photo, he pulls a face, looks the wrong way, or finds a new way to make us laugh! 🤪

To be fair, life would be much less fun if he behaved himself! 😂 ❤️

Welsh word of the week - Afon Dyfrdwy

Meaning - River Dee

The Afon Dyfrdwy begins in the mountains of Snowdonia before flowing through Bala, passing Tytandderwen Caravan and Camping Park, and continuing all the way to the sea near Chester.

It’s one of the Wales most historic rivers, appearing in old legends and stories. Today, it remains a beautiful and much-loved part of the Welsh countryside, offering stunning scenery from the mountain source to its estuary.

Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful walk, spotting wildlife, or simply admiring the view, the Afon Dyfrdwy is a wonderful reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds us here in Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This week’s Welsh phrase is Llyn Tegid.

Meaning: Bala Lake, the largest natural lake in Wales.

Nested in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia), Llyn Tegid is one of Bala’s most famous landmarks and favourite spot for walking, water sports, wildlife watching, and simply enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Local Legend: Llyn Tegid is famously said to be home to “Teggie” a mysterious freshwater creature similar to the Loch Ness Monster.
