Pencefn Holiday Cottages is a small family run business which offers 4 high standard self-catering cottages in tastefully converted farm buildings, situated in a quiet and beautiful location on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The cottages are all individually styled and have been designed with your warmth and comfort in mind, hence the double glazing and central heating. The fur
niture, soft furnishings and all equipment, including colour television with remote controls and video. For those of you really looking for a secluded get away that is the last you will see of us unless you need us but equally we will be on hand for a friendly chat and share stories if that is the way you prefer to holiday. For those of you with children and dogs have no fear, we have an 11 yr old girl, an 8 year old boy and a 1yr old Cockapoo who are always looking for play dates. In the cottage you will find a welcome pack with home made cake, tea, coffee, sugar and milk so that you can make a “paned” (Welsh for cuppa) on arrival which we hope will refresh you after your long journey. The cake really is home made by our daughter who has a flair for cooking, using an ancient family recipe. If you're really lucky she may find time to make you more to take home for a small fee... Well a girl does need her pocket money... ;)
Fresh eggs from our free range chickens are often available for sale at Pen Cefn kitchen (as long as the chickens are doing their job properly!).
