We are situated in the Snowdonia National Park, close to Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake). We are the newest of the John Lewis Partnership Hotels and have a range of activities for you to take part in if you wish.

**Important information regarding the Bala Triathlon road closure on the 6th September**

The A494 from Bala Leisure Centre down toward Rhydymain (past Llanuwchllyn) will be closed to public traffic from approximately 09:00 to 15:00.

Local Access: The B4403 along the southern edge of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) remains open for local access to Llanuwchllyn and Llangywer, though traffic will be heavier.

If you are arriving, departing, or visiting for the day, please leave plenty of extra time for your journey or plan around the closure times.

A partial solar eclipse will be visible, peaking at around 7:15pm (ish) and if the skies are kind to us, Bala Lake Hotel should be a rather lovely place to watch it unfold. ✨

Find yourself a spot on our patio or lower deck, settle back and look to the skies… or you might even catch a glimpse from the balcony at our Serenity building.

No big event. No fanfare. Just one of those slightly magical moments when nature puts on the entertainment. 🌞🌑

So, if you’re staying with us on Wednesday, don’t forget to look up!

Someone’s been away for two days… and look what happened! 🐾😂

Sorcha returned to discover the team have been busy adding even more fun to our dog activity area! 🩵

From jumps and hoops to balance beams and obstacles, there’s now even more for our four-legged guests to sniff, explore and enjoy while staying with us.

Safe to say our Chief Canine Quality Inspector has given it a very enthusiastic tail wag of approval! 🐶💜
