If you’re looking for a campsite with easy access to the best Snowdonia National Park has to offer, Tyn Cornel Camping fits the bill. Nestled on the banks of the river Tryweryn in the foothills of Arenig Fawr, the picturesque setting and high standard of facilities means we cater for everyone – whether you’re after level hardstanding for your caravan or motorhome, electric hook-up for your family

tent with space for the kids to play, or a peaceful grassy spot with a picnic bench and fire pit. If you’re after some river action – kayaking, canoeing or whitewater rafting – you can’t beat our location. Tyn Cornel Camping gives you access to white water just a few metres from your pitch and a lovely riverside walk takes you to the popular National White Water Centre in just five minutes. The outdoor adventure needn’t stop at the riverbank though. If you like hill walking, mountain biking, road cycling or rock climbing the fun is close by.

2016 is Wales’ Year of Adventure and if you enjoy exploring at a more sedate pace, there is plenty to do within easy reach. The market town of Bala, with its beautiful lake, is only 4 miles away. The North Wales coastline, with its gorgeous award-winning beaches, is also nearby and you’ll find it hard to choose which castle or narrow-gauge railway to visit first…….. Whatever floats your boat, we hope to meet you soon!

🚐 Live the Camping Lifestyle This Season!

Imagine waking up to beautiful views, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings — while becoming part of a friendly campsite team.

We’re looking for a reliable and welcoming person (or couple) to join us at Tyn Cornel Camping (Thursdays and Saturday) this season in exchange for a FREE seasonal pitch with full services included.

If you enjoy meeting people, take pride in keeping things spotless, and love campsite life, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

📅 YOUR WEEKLY ROLE
🗓️ Thursdays – Warden Cover & Cleaning

(A full-day role covering the Manager’s day off)

You’ll help keep the campsite running smoothly by:

Welcoming guests and helping with check-ins
Answering enquiries, calls, and emails
Updating simple bookings and records
Keeping washrooms and communal areas clean and fresh throughout the day
Carrying out site checks and emptying bins in the morning and late afternoon.
Helping create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for guests
🗓️ Saturdays – Cleaning Duties

Our busiest arrival day means everything needs to sparkle!

Duties include:

Deep cleaning shower blocks, toilets and shared areas.
Restocking supplies and emptying bins around the site.
Making sure facilities are spotless and guest-ready

You’ll fit right in if you are:

Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
Happy working independently
Great with people and guest-facing roles
Someone who enjoys keeping things clean and tidy
Comfortable with basic admin and emails
The owner of your own touring caravan or motorhome

No previous experience? No problem — full training will be provided.
